Wings

In this story, two young men from different social backgrounds—one wealthy and the other from a middle-class family—find themselves enamored with the same woman. Their shared affection leads them to join the US Air Corps as fighter pilots, where they rise to become celebrated flying aces during World War I. Despite being devoted best friends, their rivalry over the woman puts their friendship at risk. Meanwhile, a girl from their hometown, who has been infatuated with one of them since childhood, quietly longs for his affection.
