Una Vida: A Fable of Music and the Mind

Dr. Alvaro Cruz, a neuroscientist disheartened by his mother’s passing and his failure to save her, finds solace and purpose by assisting Una Vida, a jazz singer he encounters performing on the streets of New Orleans. As her health deteriorates and her musical partner and adopted daughter are unable to assist, Cruz embarks on a quest to locate her estranged son. His aim is to bring closure to the sorrow, loss, and yearning that have cast a shadow over her challenging yet beautiful life.
