Trek: The Movie

“Trek” is a film that chronicles the journey of Tom, a young Mormon teen, and his friends as they embark on a handcart expedition. Throughout their adventure, they attempt to sneak in forbidden snacks, deal with sibling conflicts, meet a “special ops” leader from the Young Men’s group, outsmart a skunk with a penchant for Twinkies, and contemplate thought-provoking questions such as whether general authorities watch PG-13 films. However, when unforeseen challenges arise, their faith is put to the test, echoing the trials faced by their pioneer forebears.
