The Wishing Well

Mark Jansen, a widower, manages the local newspaper in the Midwestern town where he was raised. Facing financial difficulties, his daughter decides to take action to bring joy back into his life. She visits the town’s renowned wishing well and wishes for her father’s happiness. Soon after, a sophisticated woman named Cynthia Tamerline arrives in town. Guided by Mark’s daughter, Cynthia visits the well and makes a wish of her own. The next morning, she awakens to find herself in an alternate reality, an experience that profoundly transforms her.
