The Seed of the Sacred Fig

In the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, an investigative judge finds himself engulfed in suspicion and paranoia amidst escalating political protests across the country. When his firearm inexplicably vanishes, he begins to suspect his wife and two daughters of being involved. In response, he enforces severe restrictions within the household, leading to heightened tensions. Gradually, the usual social conventions and family dynamics begin to unravel.
