The Patrol

In 2006, Helmand Province in Afghanistan turned into one of the planet’s most perilous regions when the British Army was sent into the core of Taliban territory. Known as Operation Herrick, this mission became emblematic of the British forces’ challenging and ultimately unsuccessful fight against an elusive adversary.
