The Misadventures of Margaret

A shy and self-doubting bestselling writer, married to a professor who dotes on her, decides to pen an erotic novel. Motivated by her sister and a bisexual friend, she travels to France to conduct research at an inn where a diary she had been referencing detailed erotic experiences. Upon arrival, she discovers that the inn has been transformed into a convent for singing nuns. Meanwhile, a young, recently divorced sound engineer is present, recording the nuns’ performances. Although she feels drawn to him, she primarily indulges in fresh fantasies until he eventually follows her back to New York.
