The Circuit

Newcomers to the area, Nat and Gabe, accept a dinner invitation from the fiery Hungarian Helene and her uncouth husband Sasha. Among the other attendees are Marty, a former member of Bananarama, Angie, who claims to ‘make bullets,’ and Danny, who is rumored to be suicidal. While these guests are generally pleasant, Nat and Gabe are taken aback by the hosts’ loud and public arguments. Gabe’s attempt to mediate is met with discomfort. Nat is surprised when Helene, whom she barely knows, confides in her about her suspicions of Sasha’s unfaithfulness. Meanwhile, Gabe’s effort to have a sincere conversation with Sasha is rudely dismissed. After Helene physically assaults her husband, the newcomers are eager to leave, but when Danny reveals a shocking secret, Gabe finds himself caught between doing the right thing and taking the easy way out.
