The film explores the chaotic love lives of four women residing in The Hague. It follows the intertwined stories of teenage Eva, her mother Judith, her aunt Barbara, and her older sister Anna, all living under the same roof. These women are portrayed as beautiful, brave, and wise, yet they often find themselves lost in a world filled with gentle romance, frequent dating, fleeting passions, complex relationships, the longing for children, and enduring past loves.
