Set in the Tierra Chula Resident Hotel, “Tarantula” follows the story of Echo Johnson, a well-regarded tattoo artist who lacks formal certification. Through Echo’s lyrical musings, we hear about the escapades and misadventures of the hotel’s residents, who engage in activities like crashing parties, scavenging through dumpsters, and other socially questionable antics.
