Squidbillies

“Squidbillies” is an animated TV series that follows the lives of the Cuyler family, a group of anthropomorphic mud squids living in poverty in the mountainous Appalachian region of Georgia. This show is a creation of Williams Street Studios and airs on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block, having first debuted on October 16, 2005. The series is penned by Dave Willis, known for co-creating “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” and Jim Fortier, who previously worked on “The Brak Show.” Both writers have contributed to the Adult Swim series “Space Ghost Coast to Coast.” The animation is crafted by Awesome Incorporated, with Ben Prisk responsible for the background design.
