Spellbinder

Spellbinder is a fantasy teen drama and science fiction TV series, created by Film Australia and Telewizja Polska in collaboration with the Australian Children’s Television Foundation. This 1995 series consists of 26 episodes and is a joint production between Australia and Poland. The creators, Mark Shirrefs and John Thomson, also adapted it into a novel. Filming took place in Australia, representing the “modern” world, and in Poland, where scenes set in the parallel world were primarily shot. The series was succeeded by Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord, featuring Heather Mitchell returning as Ashka.
