In the Long Run

Set in London during the 1980s, this comedic series centers on the Easmon family, who relocated to England from Sierra Leone ten years prior. Their son, Akuna, spends his time in the housing estate where they reside, engaging in soccer and avoiding the neighborhood troublemakers. The family’s routine is disrupted when Walter’s brother, Valentine, comes to the U.K., stirring up disorder and sparking Akuna’s newfound enthusiasm for music.
