High Kick!

High Kick! was a well-loved South Korean sitcom centered around the daily experiences of the Lee family, set in Seoul during the time it was broadcast. The show’s title, “High Kick!”, carries multiple meanings, one being the frequent high kicks performed by Yoon-ho, a central character. It was broadcast in South Korea from Monday to Friday in a sitcom format. Its immense popularity resulted in the production of more episodes than originally planned. Many cast members appeared in commercials and advertisements across Korea. The show’s success also spawned sequels, including High Kick Through the Roof, which aired from 2009 to 2010, and High Kick 3: The Counterattack of the Short Leg, which was on air from 2011 to 2012.
