Chip Baskets aspires to become a French clown, but life keeps getting in the way. Burdened by money troubles and unable to overcome a significant language barrier, he returns to his hometown of Bakersfield with optimistic expectations. Once there, he must deal with his history while taking on the role of a rodeo clown and vying with his siblings for his mother’s love and acceptance.
