American Justice

American Justice is a television series focused on criminal justice in the United States, which was broadcast on the A&E Network and hosted by Bill Kurtis. The program delves into intriguing or significant cases, such as the murder of Selena, the Scarsdale Diet doctor murder, the Hillside Stranglers, Matthew Shepard’s case, and the Wells Fargo heist. These stories are narrated by key figures involved, including police officers, attorneys, victims, and even the criminals themselves. With over 250 episodes produced, it holds the record as the longest-running documentary series on justice on cable television.

The last new episode of the series was made in 2005. Nevertheless, previous episodes continue to be shown on A&E’s sister channel, The Biography Channel, under the new title Notorious. The episodes remain unchanged except for updated credit sequences and commercial breaks. Additionally, past episodes are available for purchase on DVD.
