For many years, it was a chilling urban myth that haunted the dreams of youngsters. Now, the time has come to breathe new life into the story, rekindling the deepest fears of a town. As the Scarecrow Festival approaches, schoolteacher Aaron Harris is overseeing the detention of six students. Their assignment is to assist Aaron’s girlfriend, Amanda, in repairing her family’s farm before it goes on the market. However, the cornfields surrounding the farm are steeped in a legend, and Tyler takes a grim pleasure in retelling the story: It never rests, it never perishes, it cannot be halted, listen to their cries.
