Save the Cinema

The film recounts the real-life tale of Liz Evans, a hairdresser and the head of a youth theatre in Carmarthen, Wales, who launched a campaign in 1993 to prevent the Lyric theatre from shutting down. Teaming up with Richard Goodridge, the Mayor of Carmarthen at the time, they sought the assistance of Steven Spielberg and managed to arrange a special premiere of Jurassic Park.
