Ride, Rise, Roar

David Byrne, known for his work as a visual artist and musician, has always aimed to make his concerts more dynamic than traditional performances, dating back to his time with Talking Heads. In 1984, Byrne collaborated with filmmaker Jonathan Demme to push the limits of concert films with the documentary STOP MAKING SENSE. Over 25 years later, Byrne joined forces with David Hillman to produce RIDE, RISE, ROAR, a film capturing his 2008-2009 concert tour. This tour features new songs co-created with Brian Eno, alongside beloved tracks from his solo career and his days with Talking Heads. Through the use of costumes and creative choreography, Byrne, along with his musicians and dancers, delivers a stage show that matches the vibrancy of his music.
