In a small Kansas town, the story unfolds around a high school where Beth, an innocent senior, enlists the help of her two new friends, the charismatic Julie and her boyfriend Scott, to conceal the accidental death of the despised principal. However, their actions are witnessed by Terra, a prom queen nominee, who uses this knowledge to coerce them into manipulating the election in her favor. Unfazed, Beth, Julie, and Scott seek out Cherry, the most popular yet controversial student, to eliminate Terra. Cherry agrees to the task, but only if she receives Terra’s prom queen nomination and the crown, leading to further complications for everyone involved.
