Melinda has to pause her studies to earn money for her grandmother Becky’s medical expenses. One day, as Melinda exits the hospital, she is hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident, resulting in permanent paralysis of her legs. As Becky’s condition worsens, they discover a surgical procedure that might potentially save her life.
