Outside the Box

Frederick Schopner, a young consultant in management, is invited to a unique team-building exercise. He and his colleagues are set to be pursued through an outdoor obstacle course, where their leadership skills and teamwork abilities will be evaluated through video monitoring. The twist: the company has enlisted two aging actors to stage a mock kidnapping, holding the consultants hostage with fake weapons and demanding a hefty ransom from the company. It’s a realistic role-playing game with an element of fun! However, the plan goes awry when the actors become so immersed in the scenario that they decide to execute it for real, using actual weapons.
