Needle Park Baby

In the spring of 1995, following the shutdown of Needle Park and the public drug scene in Zurich, eleven-year-old Mia and her heroin-dependent mother, Sandrine, are moved to a rural area. As Mia tends to her mother, she also finds solace in her imaginary friend and a group of local teenage outcasts. These new relationships ultimately empower her to stand up against her abusive mother and seek her own freedom.
