Fifteen-year-old Eddie faces a challenging situation when his mother becomes gravely ill following a severe car crash. With their mother incapacitated, Eddie and his brother Stewart are left to fend for themselves. One night, as they struggle with a lack of food and electricity, Eddie has a dream in which his mother implores him to locate an angel’s halo to ensure her recovery.
