More Than Friendship

Mia, Lukas, and Jonas have been inseparable since childhood, sharing a bond that was as close as family. However, three years ago, their relationship evolved into a love that defies societal norms. This unconventional connection has drawn criticism and misunderstanding from some, including their own parents. Each year, the trio embarks on a journey where they can freely express their emotions without fear of judgment. The film begins as they set off on their annual trip, renting a mobile home as usual. This time, however, the circumstances are different—Jonas was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. Aware that this could be their final adventure together, Mia and Lukas strive to keep Jonas’s spirits high, despite the looming reality. Unfortunately, their promise to fill this last trip with only happiness proves difficult to uphold.
