Monsoon

Kit has little recollection of his homeland, Vietnam. After more than three decades, he visits the Land of the Golden Star, experiencing it much like a Western tourist, with the landscape appearing foreign and the language unfamiliar. His trip’s purpose is to find a suitable location to scatter his parents’ ashes, which evolves into a personal quest to reconnect with his origins and uncover his identity, made intricate and uncertain by external factors.
