Seventeen-year-old Eli relocates with his family to a secluded farm owned by the enigmatic Waylon, a man haunted by a troubled history. As Eli’s family endeavors to rejuvenate the barren land, Eli finds himself drawn to the surrounding woods. During their time on the farm, Eli encounters the enigmatic Amanda, who offers him an apple. The following day, she makes him vow to stay away from the dense forest. However, after a heated altercation with his father, Eli breaks his promise one night and discovers Amanda’s lifeless body hanging from a tree.
