Hoodwink

“Hoodwink” draws inspiration from the real-life tale of an Australian swindler who managed to captivate the media, even if he didn’t fool the authorities. The film features John Hargreaves as a convict in a New South Wales prison. Unenthusiastic about the hard labor expected of inmates, he devises a clever scheme to avoid it. By feigning complete blindness, Hargreaves successfully reduces his workload and maintains the ruse for several years.
