Happy

Florent, a 23-year-old from Paris, encounters Alessia, a disoriented American from Texas, by chance on the streets of Paris. Both having just completed their college education, they find themselves at a pivotal moment in their lives. They are caught between the opportunities of a globalized world and the constraints and duties of adulthood amidst global economic challenges. Florent aspires to go to America, while Alessia yearns for France, fulfilling her mother’s unachieved dream. Through their interactions with Marion and Louis, Florent’s closest friends, Coralie, his former girlfriend, and Thomas, a waiter they meet in Normandy, they gain insights into the world around them. A world that prompts them to question much. A world that defines their generation.
