In the spirit of Stephen King’s Stand by Me, Chiller’s original film Ghoul, adapted from Brian Keene’s acclaimed novel, follows the journey of three troubled kids as they attempt to uncover the truth behind a series of local disappearances. Featuring Nolan Gould from Modern Family, the movie delves into the sinister aspects lurking beneath the surface of small-town life. Set in the summer of 1984, the story begins with a teenage couple vanishing amidst the tombstones of the local graveyard. Twelve-year-old Timmy, along with his closest friends Barry and Doug, have always heard tales of a menacing Ghoul said to inhabit the cemetery. As events unfold, they start to question whether the terrifying myth could be true. Timmy and his friends must confront their deepest fears and test the strength of their friendship as they unearth long-hidden secrets and face the malevolent force lurking below.
