Dyke Hard

Bitte Andersson’s first feature film, “Dyke Hard,” is a chaotic queer comedy reminiscent of John Waters’ style, set in 1986. It follows the tumultuous journey of a struggling lesbian rock band as they head to a major city for a band competition. Along the way, they face a series of strange, intense, and spirited challenges, including run-ins with cyborgs, ghosts, a Thai boxer, roller derby enthusiasts, ninjas, motorcycle gangs, and a secretive billionaire, all determined to prevent the band from reaching the contest on time.
