Dogville

Set in a small, isolated town during the Great Depression, the film follows the story of Grace, played by Nicole Kidman, who seeks refuge in the community while on the run from gangsters. The townspeople agree to hide her in exchange for her labor, but as time progresses, their demands become increasingly exploitative.
