Deadline

“Deadline” follows the story of an African American teenager’s murder in rural Alabama, a case that has remained unexamined, unresolved, and without justice for nearly two decades. This status quo shifts when Matt Harper (played by Steve Talley), a journalist for the Nashville Times, encounters a passionate young aristocrat determined to uncover the truth. Despite facing resistance from his publisher, menacing threats from unknown sources, a split with his fiancée, and his father’s cancer diagnosis, Harper decides to pursue the investigation.
