Unable to endure his alcoholic father and stepmother any longer, Tsog escapes his home and takes refuge on the rooftop of a city apartment building. One day, he becomes captivated by Anu, a stunning woman residing on the top floor of the building opposite his. To feel closer to her, he purchases a remote control to watch her television, which, in his mind, erases the physical distance between them. This sparks his imagination about altering the world with the press of a button. The contrast between dreams and reality is further explored through Tsog and Anu’s shared aspiration of flying and their fear of heights. Anu’s belief that she could conquer her fear if she had a companion to fly with intriguingly mirrors Tsog’s isolation due to his estrangement from his family.
