Elvis Martini is in a dire predicament. His run-down apartment complex in Detroit is on the brink of bank foreclosure, with many tenants owing back rent. He’s also heavily indebted to both bookies and his daughter’s school. A stroke of luck comes when he discovers some illicit money in the apartment of a tenant who was evicted, temporarily easing his financial woes. However, this discovery attracts a more dangerous adversary who demands the return of the stolen funds. When this shadowy figure kidnaps his daughter, Elvis is given just 24 hours to gather $25,000 in cash.
