Blood of the Tribades

In a tale of vampiric transformation, Bathor, a vampire, converts an entire village into vampires, staying just long enough to teach them survival skills before vowing to return in 2000 years after conquering the continent. However, the plan hits a snag as the vampires, despite their immortality, have limited memory retention. Over time, they forget their once-utopian society and, under the leadership of the authoritarian zealot Grando, devolve into paranoid, superstitious fundamentalists. Their society fractures along racial and gender lines, targeting those they consider sinful. Amidst this chaos, long-separated lovers Élisabeth and Fantine, with the aid of previously exiled individuals, realize it is their destiny to reconstruct the past and safeguard what little remains before Bathor’s imminent return.
