Akbar, who recently celebrated his eighteenth birthday, has been in a rehabilitation center after being sentenced to death for a murder he committed at sixteen. Legally, his execution could only proceed once he turned eighteen. Now, he has been moved to a prison where he awaits his execution date. Meanwhile, A’la, a friend of Akbar who was previously jailed for theft, is fervently working to obtain the approval of Akbar’s accuser in hopes of preventing the execution.
