“Africa United” narrates the remarkable journey of three Rwandan youngsters who strive to fulfill their lifelong dream of attending the 2010 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Johannesburg. Their adventure takes an unexpected turn when Fabrice, Dudu, and Béatrice mistakenly board the wrong bus, landing them in Congo. Stranded without identification or money, they find themselves in a refugee camp for children. However, armed with remarkable resourcefulness, courage, and a World Cup poster as their guide, the trio manages to escape the camp. They embark on a quest to chase their dreams, joined by a “dream team” of fellow refugee children, leading to a series of thrilling escapades. As they traverse 5000 kilometers across seven countries, the film unveils a rarely seen side of Africa.
