A Smile as Big as the Moon

Mike Kersjes, a special-education teacher and football coach from Michigan, treats his students with respect and believes in their potential to accomplish remarkable feats. Upon learning about Space Camp, an educational initiative at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center aimed at talented science students, Mike is inspired. He thinks that joining this summer program could significantly boost the confidence of his students, especially one who dreams of becoming an astronaut.
