A Farewell to Fools

In the midst of World War II, in an Eastern European village, a German soldier is discovered dead. The villagers face a dire ultimatum: identify the murderer or face execution by the Nazis at dawn. With no clear suspect, they turn to Ipu, the village’s eccentric outcast, offering him a hero’s burial if he confesses to the crime and sacrifices himself for their survival. Ipu is left with a critical decision as the clock ticks down.
