From The Land of The Moon

Set in post-World War II France, this film follows the life of Gabrielle, a passionate woman trapped in a loveless marriage, who is sent to a spa in the Alps to treat her kidney stones. There, she meets André, a dashing war veteran, and finds herself drawn to him, igniting a fervent love affair that challenges her understanding of desire and freedom. Starring Marion Cotillard, the film is directed by Nicole Garcia and is based on the novella by Milena Agus.
