Leyla, who is both a lawyer and a poet, boards a long-distance train to go to her high school reunion dinner. During the journey, she encounters Canan, a troubled young nursing student. As they talk, Leyla discovers that Canan is on her way to help a paralyzed man named Yavuz, who wishes to end his life. By the conclusion of the overnight journey, influenced by the narratives of fellow passengers and others beyond the train, Leyla chooses to join Canan on her challenging mission.
