Growing up with a police officer father, Shawn Spencer honed his observational skills, though it also left him with a deep-seated resentment towards his dad. As an adult, Shawn’s knack for providing the police with helpful insights results in him being wrongly suspected of a crime he actually cracked. To clear his name, Shawn is forced to maintain the facade of having psychic abilities to solve crimes, involving his best friend, his father, and the police in his charade.
