Dumbstruck

At the yearly Vent Haven Convention in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, known as the global hub for ventriloquism, filmmaker Mark Goffman encounters five remarkable individuals who seem as if they’ve stepped out of a Christopher Guest parody. However, in this charming and entirely factual documentary, these individuals are genuine, as are the deep emotional bonds they share with their “dummies.”
