One evening, Susie Q and her boyfriend were on their way to a dance when they were involved in a car accident that sent them off a bridge. Many years later, a teenager named Zach Sands moves into Susie’s former home. Zach’s family consists of his mother and sister, Penny Sands, following the death of his father in a car accident. One night, Zach encounters Susie and realizes he can see her. Susie reveals to Zach that there is a Heaven, and after death, people are sometimes sent back to Earth to assist their families. When they can’t manage on their own, they receive special help, which is why Zach can see her—to aid her family. Zach is the only person who can see Susie, and as they spend time together, he finds himself falling in love with her. Could their love be something extraordinary?
