Two defiant young men, Ralph and Scott, grapple with the challenges of growing up while the Vietnam War unfolds. Feeling confined in their small town, Scott clashes with his traditional veteran father, Cliff, while Ralph contends with his mother’s intense sexual behavior. When devastating news comes from abroad, the whole town, motivated by Ralph and Scott’s antiwar activism, begins to reconsider its stance on the conflict.
